最近多くの生徒さんから、Academic discussion 作文で時間切れになるのでどうしたらよいかとの質問をよく受けます。当方が勉強会でお知らせしたテンプレを使うと時間切れの可能性が高いので、以下の新しい提案をします。

一文目：In my opinion, expanding the economy is more important than protecting the environment.
環境か経済かどちらかを選んで意見表明する。Professorの論点（環境か経済か）だけを読み取る。
二文目：This is because～　自分で考えた論点を述べる。従って、MaggieとAlexのreadingは読む必要はない。
できるだけFor example,で実例を入れる。


サンプル作文：
In my opinion, expanding the economy is more important than protecting the environment. This is because people need money to live comfortably, send their kids to college, and pay for things like hospital bills. We do know it is essential to protect the environment for future generations, but right now, most people are just busy with their daily lives. For example, I have a friend who is a single mom with three little kids. She works as a nurse and also has a part-time job as a waitress at a restaurant to earn money for her kids. She is really busy, so she does not have time to think about things like global warming and how it might affect the Earth in the future. (124 words)

このやり方であれば、テキストの読みにかかる時間は１0秒くらい、作文にほとんどの時間を費やすことができます。

このような中学英語でミスのない英語を書いてください。5点は無理かもしれませんが、確実に4点取れます。難しく書こうとするとミスが出て3点になってしまいます。
